Countdown to the One Year Anniversary of the FedRAMP Act
Friday, December 1st, DEFTECH kicks off  the “Tech Protect Initiative” for the NC Innovation Ecosystem with a “Countdown to the First Anniversary of the FedRAMP Act.”

During these three weeks before The FedRAMP Act’s first birthday on December 22nd, Teri Marlene Prince, the CEO of TERIDA, and Laura Rodgers, Director of Cybersecurity Practice, Secure Computing Institute, NC State University, and their guests, will host a series of daily two-hour Ramp Up events to ensure that North Carolina companies are positioned to successfully compete, innovate, and protect their Intellectual Property (IP), and their data and federal data, and meet federal standards, laws, and national security requirements.

The TERIDA FedRAMP Journey to ATO, TERIDA PaaS, and iPaaS (PaaS from TERIDA and IaaS from AWS) with inherited controls, for interconnected cloud providers to gain FedRAMP credentials in their name with less risk and cost will bring a North Carolina focus to cloud solutions, FedRAMP modernization, decreasing the FedRAMP timeline, and increasing the quantity of products and services receiving FedRAMP authorizations.

Together we will discover new businesses and opportunities, connecting innovators with financial and cyber assets and capital, and empowering businesses with FedRAMP credentials.  DEFTECH Tech Protect enables the North Carolina innovation ecosystem elements to address complex national security problems, decrease cybersecurity risk, and increase economic opportunities for the state.
