SBA to Hold Town Hall for the Lumbee Community
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has announced it will hold a town hall for the Lumbee Community on Wednesday, Oct. 19. The event marks the SBA’s first, significant outreach event in Robeson County and for the Lumbee tribe.
The town hall will include a brief SBA presentation and a panel discussion also featuring the SBA as well as its resource partners: Small Business and Technology Development Center, SCORE, Women’s Business Center, Veterans Business Outreach Center, and Robeson Community College Small Business Center.

ARPA-E intends to announce $31 million in funding through phase two of its Aerodynamic Turbines, Lighter and Afloat, with Nautical Technologies and Integrated Servo-control (ATLANTIS) program.
