Register now to participate in our “Veterans’ Job/Career Fair”. In light of this, the NCWorks Career Center-Onslow County is facilitating a Veterans’ Job/Career Fair for employers and job seekers.
We are excited to announce that American Legion Burton Cowell Post 265, 146 Broadhurst Rd., Jacksonville, NC 28541, has graciously offered the use of their site for this event and has free WIFI access!
The job/career fair will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022. There is NO COST associated with participation in this job fair to either employers or job seekers. The agenda is as follows:
08:30 AM – 9:45 AM – check-in, display set up
09:50 AM – welcoming remarks, recognition of sponsors and safety brief
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM – doors open to Veterans, Active Duty and Eligible persons only
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM – doors open to the general public, Veterans, Active Duty and Eligible persons
Please note: We will be observing and applying NC Department of Health Services Covid-19 mandates. Please, bring masks, hand sanitizer and wipes.
