Export Compliance Roadshow: Navigate Global Markets with Confidence

The North Carolina District Export Council and U.S. Commercial Service in North Carolina are hosting an Export Compliance Roadshow event December 4-5, 2024 in Charlotte.  This two-day event will allow you to hear directly from the U.S. government regulatory agencies and private sector regulations experts to provide you with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate U.S. export regulations.  Topics on the agenda include:

  • Overview of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Introduction to the ITAR/ Defense Product Controls
  • OFAC Introduction and Country Sanctions Program
  • ACE, AES Filing Systems and Requirements
  • Managing Your Company’s Export Compliance and Recordkeeping
  • Classification of Items on the Commerce Control List

Speakers are from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), OFAC, private banks, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security, and local exporters who are experts in navigating U.S. export regulations.

This seminar is a great chance to get first-hand information from the experts in U.S. export controls, ask questions, and network to build your contacts in this topic area.
