Planned Events for the Federal Technology Symposium (FTS ’24) Road To War (RTW)

Join us in person for the DEFTECH Coffee Call, dedicated to celebrating the 4th anniversary of innovation and collaboration within the North Carolina Innovation Ecosystem!  This event will be a hybrid format, held in-person at the First Flight Venture Center, 2 Davis Drive, RTP, and virtually.

Agenda:

8:00 – 9:00 AM (EST): Celebrate 4 Years of Coffee Calls and Overview of “Teaming to Win” in the Federal Marketplace

• Innovation Community Presentations: Engage with the DEFTECH Community through dynamic presentations highlighting the NC Innovation Ecosystem.
• Manveer Sandhu, Associate, Plug and Play Tech Center Overview:  We drive innovation and empower the future with corporations, governments, startups, investors, and universities.
• Overview of “Teaming to Win” in the Federal Marketplace:
  • Presenter: Reena Bhatia, Federal Business Development, Raleigh
  • Gain insights into successful teaming strategies for winning federal contracts.

9:00 – 10:00 AM (EST): Office of Science, Technology & Innovation (OSTI)

• Keynote Address: Hear from John Hardin, Executive Director, Office of Science, Technology & Innovation (OSTI), North Carolina Department of Commerce about the impact and future of the NC Innovation Ecosystem.

10:00 AM – 11:00 AM (EST): Networking

• Networking: Build valuable connections within the NC Innovation Ecosystem and beyond, engaging in meaningful conversations and collaborations.
