BIOGRAPHY.
Lee E. Moritz serves the North Carolina Military Center as a Business Development and Industry consultant specializing in the Textiles and Aerospace industries.

Lee served for 21 years both active US Army and NC National Guard retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He held various command aviation assignments up to Brigade and State level staff serving in both US and overseas assignments.

Lee Moritz is a graduate of Appalachian State University and military schools including the US Army Command and General Staff College and National Defense University. 

Lee brings thirty-five plus years of Business Development and Marketing experience. He had a 25-year career in the textile industry serving in positions including EVP, Licensed Brands for a major NC textile company producing socks under Brand, Private Label, and licensed agreements. More recently he served as Marketing/Business Development Director for a unique NC based aerospace company transforming agriculture aircraft into precision strike aircraft purpose built for US State Department approved nations.

Lee served his community 16 years as a local elected official, recently awarded the “The Old North State” award by the Governor of North Carolina for his elected and military service.

Lee is a native of Conover, NC, where is resides with his wife, Michele. His hobbies include classic cars, the NC mountains and keeping up with grandkids. His office is located on the Conover campus of Catawba County Community College, Manufacturing Solutions Center.
