AUSA: North Carolina Delegation Meetings
The Annual Meeting and Exposition of the Association of the US Army (AUSA) will be in Washington DC at the Washington Convention Center on October 14-16, 2024.
The North Carolina Military Business Center, in partnership with the North Carolina Military Affairs Commission, will be arranging meetings for North Carolina businesses attending AUSA with a North Carolina delegation (including members of the North Carolina government, Governor’s office, and the NC Military Affairs Commission).

The Federal and Defense Textile and Tactical Equipment (FEDTEX) Summit hosted by the Office of US Senator Thom Tillis, Office of Senator Ted Budd, the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) and the North Carolina Defense Technology Transition Office (DEFTECH) connects the US Department of Defense (DoD) and federal agency clothing and individual equipment buyers with US textile manufacturers, textile supply chain suppliers, cut and sew contractors, research and development (R&D) facilities, testing labs and academic resources.

Winning More SBIRs/STTRs Awards in North Carolina (March 22 and 23)
The NC Defense Technology Transition Office (DEFTECH) will partner with First Flight Venture Center, the North Carolina Department of Commerce’s Board of Science, Technology & Innovation, and our hosts at four NC Community Colleges, to conduct this SBIR/STTR Educational training.
The purpose of this training is to educate and inform more small businesses in North Carolina’s vastly growing science/technology ecosystem on how to compete and win more Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) awards from federal agencies.
